It’s been a very demanding year, but addressing challenges is how we built our Annual Walk to End Homelessness community over the past 18 years.  

This year, Alpha Community Services YMCA has met additional challenges of bringing its community together again in a safe way for its 19th Annual Walk to End Homelessness, by creating a virtual one.  And, as a result of the tremendous impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are facing an even greater need.  Friends and neighbors who never thought they would face the possibility of homelessness are struggling to maintain homes and feed their families.  

In these difficult times, exercise, helping others, and being creative go a long way in rebuilding hope and our collective economy. 

We have a tremendous opportunity to demonstrate our community commitment by giving a helping hand to both the homeless we have always served and the newly impacted.
